How to export an H.264 (.mp4) file directly from After EffectsExport your projects quickly with hardware accelerated output and direct rendering of H files using After Effects Render Queue. You would select Quicktime, then in the Quicktime settings choose the codec, etc. I would recommend downloading and installing the x codecs for Quicktime Pro. Because it is and always has been a terrible idea to export to h from an AE comp. Export using Render Queue to DNx or Pro Res in a Quicktime.
